SUMMARY:Discovery Sands Public Hearing at Galveston City Council
DESCRIPTION:The Galveston City Council is expected to consider the proposed Discovery Sands development during its June 25\, 2026 Regular City Council Meeting. \nThis meeting may be one of the final opportunities for residents and community members to provide public input before City Council takes action on the proposal. \nCommunity members are encouraged to attend and provide public testimony to share their perspective. Public testimony will occur during the 5:00 PM Regular City Council Meeting. Speakers are limited to three minutes and may sign up to speak upon arrival at the meeting. \nResources Include\nDiscovery Sands Action Guide \nProject Application Materials \nThe Discovery Sands Action Guide includes project background information\, meeting details\, instructions for providing public testimony\, contact information for City Council members\, and other ways to participate. \nNote that meeting information is based on currently available City of Galveston information and will be updated if the City modifies the agenda or meeting schedule.
