On August 2, 2024, Bayou City Waterkeeper submitted three public comments to the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) on the Intended Use Plans (IUP) for the 2025 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Lead Service Line Replacement (DWSRF-LSLR).
Bayou City Waterkeeper encourages the Texas Water Development Board to adopt these recommendations to enhance the equity, effectiveness, and transparency of the programs. We believe these changes will help ensure that state funds are directed to the areas and projects where they can have the greatest impact on both infrastructure improvement and community well-being.
