Keith Wiess Park Nature Based Solutions Workshop with Harris Co. Precinct 2 and Water Finance Exchange

Join Bayou City Waterkeeper, Water Finance Exchange, and Harris County Precinct 2 for an upcoming community workshop shaping the future of Aldine and Keith Wiess Park!

Harris County Precinct 2 is hosting the Aldine Community Plan Update Meeting to gather resident feedback on the future of the broader Aldine community.

While you are there to share your vision for the neighborhood, stop by the Bayou City Waterkeeper and Water Finance Exchange table!

We will be hosting an interactive feedback station focused specifically on exploring and co-designing Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) for Keith Wiess Park. Come chat with us about local standing water, learn how natural sponge infrastructure works, and help guide real solutions for our local greenspaces.

Come share your experiences with local standing water, learn about sponge infrastructure, and help us co-design natural flood solutions that work for our community!
