Audria Cameron, Texas Law (2L)
Audria is a second-year law student at the University of Texas School of Law. Originally from Houston, Texas, Audria graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Classics and Environmental Policy. Her interests in environmental policy and water rights led her to pursue her J.D. at the University of Texas School of Law. In her free time she enjoys running, cooking, and playing the harp. Audria will join the organization for the second half of the summer and looks forward to this opportunity to work with Bayou City Waterkeeper.
Anthony D’Souza, Rice University (Senior)
Anthony is a senior at Rice University, majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Politics, Law & Social Thought. He interned for Bayou City Waterkeeper this spring and has previously interned for the Environmental Law Institute, Katy Prairie Conservancy, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, and the Baker Institute working on a variety of environmental policy issues including carbon pricing, nature-based disaster resilience, climate change-induced migration, environmental justice, and conflict sensitivity in environmental programming. He currently lives in west Houston, having moved there five years ago from Karachi, Pakistan and in his free time enjoys playing soccer and basketball.
Natalie Garcia, St. Mary’s University School of Law (2L)
Natalie is a second-year law student at St. Mary’s University School of Law. Originally from Brownsville, Texas, Natalie graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019 with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Economics. During college, Natalie interned for the Texas A&M Office of Sustainability where she worked as Sustainability Outreach Specialist in creating a culture of sustainability through various campus engagement platforms. Natalie has also interned for U.S. Congressman Filemon Vela to plan a Congressional Summit for the 34th District of Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, time with her family, and yoga.
June Hormell, Texas Law (2L)
June is a second-year law student at the University of Texas. They graduated as a national merit scholar from the University of Houston with degrees in psychology and economics, and received their Masters in Public Policy from the Hobby School of Public Affairs. They have worked in several local governments, including Harris County Precinct One, Dallas ISD, and the City of Houston, working to design policy to promote sustainability, equity, and justice.
Jessica Villalón, Texas Law (3L)
Jessica is a third-year law student at the University of Texas School of Law. She was born and raised in the bordertown Laredo, Texas where she also attended university. Jessica obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M International University in 2017, graduating summa cum laude with a major in Multidisciplinary Studies. Jessica spent her time before law school working as a literacy tutor for elementary school ESL students in Laredo. After law school, she hopes to practice in Texas and do environmental justice work.
